NO :copno:

NO :copno:

NO to the tamperer, what a f****ing boring boring outdated 1990's utter garbage!

Ive been desperate to see the back of the Tamperer for a long long time!!

I have said on here before, a voiciferous away crowd of even a piddling 500 can drown out the poxy clapping that goes with the Tamperer!

:banghead:

even more annoying than the block 11 song! "no"

Dear god, are people still clamouring for the Tamperer???? It was dated 10 years ago, it caused ridicule from fans of other clubs, it's embarrassing!! Can our fans not appreciate anything other than a song that encourages mindless clapping??

The current music is fantastic. Real spine tingling stuff. Not some cheap, early 90s rubbish.

Depends on your point of view. Spine-tingling or a dirge?

IMO the new music does nothing to get the crowd going.

It's a football match. It shouldn't take some happy, clappy song to get the crowd going.

The current music and video makes me feel immense pride, and I think the anthemic quality of the music with the stark 'This is St Andrews' message, as the teams come out, must be intimidating. For me it says, 'We are a team with a history. This is our ground and this is our fortress. Prepare to face intimidation and enter a battle you cannot win'. I love it. I just wish they'd up the volume by a couple of notches.

People need to stop asking for music they like.

its not if you like the music, its if it gets the crowd going!!

I don't think its a coincidence that there's no longer singing at the start of the games anymore...

I don't think it does. it DID but no longer. Take a look around, no ones paying a blind bit of attention to it.

ELO starts, parts of the crowd stand and clap, then the video starts, the crowd chat.

Not with a half empty stadium with murmurings of talking and no singing, it may work for a team like Liverpool but not us. It attempts to create that atmosphere but fails unless it was a European night.

I agree, I don't dislike the current music - I just don't think its working for us, it would definitely be more effective in a big packed stadium, I really think its more fitting for that, the teams coming out now has lost its momentum - theres just loads of chatting going on like the background noise in the pub.

The tamperer might be a bit dated, but it works! I hope we get it back. :)

Please sign this Petition and bring the Tamperer back to Birmingham City.

http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/bringth...perebacktobues/

Perhaps you could call "The football phone in", on Gold, Fridays 6-7pm, and let the listeners know you have set up a petition.
I have heard a few people asking about getting The Tamperer back.

Just an idea that may get a few more signatures **thumbup

Its not a walk out song that makes an atmosphere good or bad.

Its fans turning up themselves to start with, and then singing and chanting themselves...

Correct, but it needs more than just the fans. (as you can tell right now)

it needs a good atmosphere, created by both fans, club and the team on the pitch. The team are doing their bit right now (In the main). The club and the fans are not.

There is nothing wrong with the current music, which is actually attached to the 'pre-match video' of blues' history and triumphs, which actually makes the hairs stand up on my ......neck!

Our club has gone backwards enough in the last year, we dont need that garbage Tamperer back, boring , droll utter cr@p, I will not sign any petition and if it does make a comeback I will not participate. :banghead:
